The intent is to shed light on a facet of the initiative that is addressing the systems of oppression that negatively impact BMoC by empowering youth, dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline, and shifting resources from incarceration to prevention. Its approach includes equitable research and writing practices (Feb. 2019. By LPC Consulting, Contact Tiffany Wilson, tiffany@lpc-associates.com, 916 448-8026).

REPORT
ANNIE E. CASEY FOUNDATION

This recent report, developed with support from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and other organizations, aims to teach researchers, evaluators, and funders how to better support boys and men of color.

“While I might want to think about EEF all day (and I kind of do), that’s not the reality for most people, and we need to accommodate that. Questions we need to consider as we continue to move forward: What is a reasonable pace for this work? What is an equitable way to share learning? How do we share the power in this evaluation work?”
